The White Sox acquired utility player Mark Teahen from the Kansas City Royals in the offseason. Juan Pierre? Really?

The Chicago White Sox acquired Juan Pierre this offseason. Why they decided to not resign Scott Podsednik is a mystery to me. He was the key player who put a fire under the butt's of the other players to start games.
